Christian Adams started work at The Observer in 1987. Soon after he became a staff cartoonist at the Evening Standard and stayed there for ten years. In 2016, he left the Daily Telegraph after 15 years to rejoin the Evening Standard as its main political cartoonist. Adams was voted Political Cartoonist of the Year for 2012 by the Political Cartoon Society.
