My latest book, The Second World War in Cartoons, which comes out in June to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day will be the largest book of political cartoons ever published with an total of 712 images. Over 99% of them have not been seen since the day they were first published in their respective newspapers or magazines. Through newly discovered cartoons the book first tells the story of the origins of WW2, then covers the war itself, with a final postscript that looks at how the grand alliance finally collapsed leading to the Cold War which then lasted another 40 years.
